The Senior Men's Marc Dickson has been working hard since the end of the season training and competing with the Scotland Under 23s. the Scotland Under 23s finished their campaign on Tuesday night in Aberdeen in a game against Andorra's National Squad. The young Scotland team played very well, showing big improvements since they first met at the start of the year.
The Wolves Senior men were also represented in the under 23s coaching staff. The Wolves starting guard, Ben O'Connell, is the squads head coach.
The Wolves are extremely proud of the achievements of these seniors, with hopes that some other players coming through the club can break into this squad soon.
Well done Marc and Ben.
Four of our young players are in action this weekend at the Scottish Future Starz Camp. William Wardrop, Gyatri Vijapurkar, Rachael Wallace and Leah Stewart were all selected to attend the camp after strong performances at the Under 12 National Challenge back in May. Our Young Wolves will be put through their paces by National team coaches, learn lots of new skills and play in competitive games and skills competitions
Having four players named from West Lothian is proof that the hard work of our players and coaches is paying off.
We would like to send the young Wolves all our best wishes for the weekend and hope that they can use this experience to motivate them to continue to work hard in the future.
Please like this article and post your messages of support to show our young players how much support they have within the club.
