The Wolves club BBQ was held last night and was a massive success. Here is Senior Men Head Coach Andy Smyth with his championship ring, given to each club member as a token of last season's success. Well done to the organising committee and everyone involved in making yesterday such a great event.
Players, Coaches and Volunteers are all now able to register for the upcoming season.
Please go to the page named Player Registration Page, which is on the menu at the top of this page.
All the required information to help you register and then set up payment for this years registration and monthly subs is all there.
You must be registered with the Wolves and Basketballscotland to train and play, so please make sure this is arranged as soon as possible.
Also please note that this year we are formally introducing reduced subs for siblings. Therefore you will pay the full subs for the eldest family member, and 50% subs for every family member thereafter. We are really wanting to make the Wolves a family oriented club and this is one of the ways in which we are working towards this.
I hope you have been enjoying this fine summer we have had , and have your basketball mojo all recharged and ready to go.
In earlier Howls you will recall how we propose to run our weekly practice sessions from late August.
And importantly , how each player will have a regular practice session and dependent on development, an extra "invited" session.
Whilst we have been running sessions all through the Summer, these sessions have been light (on workload and players) , and it is time to ramp up the intensity and commitment from everyone, players, parents and coaches alike.
In short, "Holidays over folks, back to work".
Please do return to practice for these last few weeks of the holidays, before the new schedules kick in , to ensure our players and teams are in the best possible shape to start the season with a bang.
