West Lothian Wolves vs. Grampian Flyers
Squad: L.Lockhart, K.Man, S.Jindal, J.Meldrum, J.Ferguson, S.Kerr, C.Mortimer, C.McKeon, T.Tomer, J.Adams.
Report: The game had a high intensity in the opening minutes, as it was the first time that the U16M had played Grampian since the playoff final. The wolves quickly set the tempo straight off the tip with Jindal scoring the first basket of the game almost 5 seconds into the match, and our Wolves did not stop there, out scoring Grampian 29-9 in the first quarter.
The Wolves had a very dominating game against a very large Grampian team, the height didn't seem to bother the Wolves as the boys rarely gave them second chance points, something the U16 men were struggling with in previous games.
In the 3rd quarter the Wolves came out strong again with Meldrum and Kerr combining for 23 points in that period. Solid team defense in the 3rd with Grampian again only scoring 9 points.
The Men kept the high pace game throughout the whole game, as the rotation by the bench gave us solid minutes to give us the edge over the Flyers. The pace could not be matched as our guards moved the ball sharply to give our scorers easy looks at the basket
