Q1. How has your season been so far??
"This has been my debut season at Assistant, giving me the opportunity to work with one of the best coaches in the business, Dave Evans. I came in halfway through the season when Coach Ramos moved to sunnier shores (although it seems to have snowed every day in Canada since he moved) and I have really enjoyed being part of the club.
The vision and direction is brilliant and the commitment and focus from the players is inspirational. This team and club have a bright future."
Q2. What do you think has been your toughest game this season and why??
"The last league game of the season against table topping Glasgow Lady Rocks was a tough game both physically and mentally. We only had 7 players for this game and some of them were as young as U13. Rocks, with a full bench, went out strong from the start and full court pressed for much of the game.
The 7 players did themselves proud and showed ambition and creativity that will make them strong for years to come."
Q3. What has been your favourite game this season and why?
"My favourite game without a doubt was the away fixture at the Peak against Stirling Knights on the back of a defeat against them in both the league and cup.
The girls were up for this game from the start, we switch PG around throughout the game with Abby Cowan and Rose Harvey taking it in turn to lead from the front and with the rest of the players' delivering above and beyond it was a really great win."
Q4. How are you feeling going into this year's playoffs?
"I am looking forward to the playoffs. It's a chance for the girls to show what basketball means to them, continue their development and most importantly have fun."
Q5. If you could add one player you have faced this year at your age group to your squad, who would it be and why?
"This is a tough question as there is such great talent in Scotland and some of our opponents have had some real great games. However, it is not just about talent, when you look at players you need to look at the dynamic and attitude they bring to a team, do they fit and compliment the rest of the team.
My call out would be Jenny Hall. She is strong and quick but above all she comes across as a real team player that could compliment any team in the league."
