Q1. How has your season been so far??
"This season has been brilliant. There has been a massive development in our team since the start of the season.
We were unfamiliar with the way each other played at the start of the season but now that we have bonded on and off the court which has helped our performances during games.
The games we have played have been very competitive and great play in. We have had a mixed season coming away with some tough losses but also some well fought wins."
Q2. What do you think has been your toughest game this season and why??
"I feel our toughest game was our 2nd last game of the season at home to Boroughmuir Blaze. We started the game with only 6 players, we were doing well and kept it close but unfortunately due to injury we went down to 4 fully fit players. This did not stop us however and we were not giving up. We even got the game back to a 2pt game at one point.
This was a very tough and physical game and even though we lost it in the end, it was a great game to see the progress we had made throughout the season and the team was brilliant."
Q3. What has been your favourite game this season and why??
"Personally, my favourite game of the season was Boroughmuir Blaze away. This game was quite early in the season and for me, it was one of the first games where we really worked well as a team. We were hustling for everything on offence and defence.
The game came down to the last few minutes where we fought hard to gain a small lead and we managed to keep it that way, coming away with a well deserved win.
I think the best part of winning was how happy my team mates were after we had won the game. I was so proud to be part of this team."
Q4. How are you feeling going into this year's playoffs??
"I am looking forward to the playoffs. Our last few games of the season have been some of our best and have shown the great developments we have had as a team and I am excited to see the team play with these in the playoffs.
I know my team will play their best as they always do and no matter what happens in the playoffs, this has been an amazing season."
Q5. If you could add one player you have faced this year at your age group to your squad, who would it be and why??
"We have played against some great individuals this season but personally I wouldn't change the team we have.
Although we have areas we need to develop that the addition of another player may help, I feel my team are doing well to develop these areas together.
However, I feel that if I need to pick a player, a defensive player could help our team as our offence has become great now we are well together but now we are also starting to do this playing stronger defence during games which is great."
Q6. What will be the breakfast of choice on playoff game day??
"My breakfast before the playoffs will be weetabix and milk, a banana and a cup of tea."
